Styling Faux Locs

I found faux locs very easy to style (easier than box braids) because they were so much more malleable and lighter to carry on my head. I attribute that to the method of putting the locs in where you don't use too much synthetic hair on the loc.

The Over-the-Shoulder

Easiest style there is with long braided/loc'ed styles

I found myself in the morning always just throwing my locs over the shoulder or doing a side twist/braid like I did with the senegalese twistsIt is simple and effortless. Pair it with a hat or anything else you fancy!

The Top Knot Bun

Get it out the face and out the way

This was definitely the best style if you were too hot or just trying to be classy chic at a weddding and whatnot. Very similar method to styling and doing a top knot bun with a box braids style.

Facial Side Pony Tail

trying to be different without being too different?

I like the facial side pony tail more than I liked it with the box braids. I've seen this style on instagram a lot for edgy photo shoots paired with wild colored lipsticks and I decided to try a toned down version for going out in Vegas. It is fun but not something for the job interview.

The Head Scarf

Urban Cool

I started wearing the headscarf more and more recently because it is so cool and fun! Also hides your roots that have begun to start growing/outgrowing the loc style. You can also wear it reversed with the locs cascading out but I found that hard to do with longer locs.
